About Me

Welcome to my blog!

Born in a multi-cultural country India, currently living in courteous Canada, I am busy making a home away from home. I am a thorough movie buff, travel enthusiast, amateur cook, cricket devotee, scrabble addict, and an avid explorer. I am married to my friend and a fellow traveler. This blog essentially features my day-to-day escapades—travel experiences, culture, food, life, and celebrations.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page”
– St. Augustine

My travel saga began from India, moved to the U.S, and finally reached Canada. I love to explore new places; my travel enthusiasm remains same for all places be it a landmark site or a countryside. I am on a constant look out to learn about new places and culture. My blog tries to reminiscence my travel experiences. My travel bucket list only seems to expand every day; here’s my travelogue at present:
Seattle, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Toronto, New York, Montreal, Quebec, Kingston, Niagara, Tobermory, and Algonquin National Park

“The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back”
– Wendy Wunder

When I am not traveling, I am busy converting a house to a home. Setting up a home is a big challenge and cannot be done overnight. This challenge has let me to learn so much about home, decor, and living—I constantly search for affordable decor that perfectly depicts my style.

“Laughter is brightest where food is the best”
– Irish Proverb

I am a hardcore foodie and definitely feel proud to say it. I relish good food, and I am constantly curious to taste different cuisines. I enjoy exploring new eat-outs. I am not an expert, still an amateur cook; some days my kitchen will be transformed into a cooking workshop.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy reading my anecdotes!
